I've gotten quite behind when it comes to answering and thanking each of those commenting and faving my works. Since I like to visit the galleries of those commenting and faving, the comment and fave list seems to multiply once I get a bit behind, makng it a bit tough to get caught up... What little summer we've had has left the northern plains here in North Dakota with the Solstice. This has been one of the coolest "summers" on record here with warmer temperatures finally showing up in September...giving us a September with near normal to slightly above temperatures. October blew in with high winds and some cold rains with a several inches of snow in places. So far, we've been averaging 12º below normal...brrrr. And, judging by forecasts, October will probably set a record for cold.
It would have been nice to have had some of that "global warming" around here this last summer, not to mention this month. All the cool weather has put crops behind by several weeks and much of the fruit on our trees is still green. It may just freeze before it's ripe...
But,despite it all. We really saved on electricity this summer by not having to use the airconditioner, but, heat may be another story.

[(Just a note let you all know that my 2010 calendars are available from the Print Shop here at DevART. I was well pleased with the printing of my 2008 & 2009 calendars last year....nice work DevART!! One can view my 2010 calendars at the DevART Shop...updated from the previous selections. I also finished the selections of my new 2010 calendar. I hope to have the new 2010 calendar uploaded this weekend..Oct. 24...for the collection, as well.

I've also been busy printing note cards($1.50) and some of my smaller greeting card sized(5"x8") "booklet" calendars for local craft shows, priced at $3.95.

A local card shop took a couple dozen of my cards as part of its "local artists" display, which was a bit of a boost to the ego, though I don't know how well they sold, yet.



Smile!! It keeps everyone wondering what you've been up to!
The most wasted day of all is one in which we have not laughed.
