I've gotten quite behind when it comes to answering and thanking each of those commenting and faving my works. Since I like to visit the galleries of those commenting and faving, the comment and fave list seems to multiply once I get a bit behind, makng it a bit tough to get caught up... So, MANY THANKS to each and all of you!!

Thank you!.....to all those of you that have 'd my work recently.  I have a tendency of late to be quite behind in my correspondence and thank you's. So, a word of thanks to all!  And, I hope to see you visiting my gallery again and that you enjoyed your visit, as well.

Spring arrived as usual this year with a few nice days...and temperatures near average for March and April came one with a snow and followed by rains upon a abnormally heavy snow pack this year.  This resulted in much flooding and people are finally able to get into their homes to inspect the damage from the water.  But at least the rivers are back in their banks but still at a high level for this time of the year.

   May arrived with temperatures finally getting up to normal...and the hillside to the east of the house is blanketed with blue-grey crocus flowers that glow when backlighted by the rising sun behind them.. It's the most flowers that I've seen in the 11 years that Ive been here.

   June through August passed way too quickly and cooler than normal ...and September and school arrived all too soon and with normal to above normal temps.  And with harvest under way, there have been lots of delays due to rain and storms.  This summer has been damper than normal and a bit cooler, which has left our prairies much greener than normal....no brown pastures and hillsides to stare at like normal years at this time of year.
  The autumnal equinox arrived with some frost and leaves are beginning to add their fall colors and warm temperatures are making it quite enjoyable to get out and view the colors..and to pick ripening fruits...apples, pears, and plums among others...

2012 CALENDARS - 4 collections of my fractals

Just a note let you all know that FOUR 2012 calendars of my Fractal Collections are available from the Print Shop here at DevART.  I was well pleased with the previous calendar printings ....nice work DevART!! These have been updated for 2012 and as soon as I can recover my lost artwork on the external drive, I hope to have another new calendar for 2012 to add to the collection.

Take a look through the print gallery and you'll find a number of my works available as blank cards for writing notes to that special friend and family..

A local card shop took a couple dozen of my cards as part of its "local artists" display, which was a bit of a boost to the ego, though I don't know how well they sold, yet.
