A Fall Walk in the Woods

This is one of my first tries using the Apophysis 2.06c-3D Hack which began with a 'linear 3D' variation. A bit of playing with the rotation and playing with the transforms changed what looked as a bunch of flowers to what looked like leaves of shrubs, trees and woodbine vines in a woodland scene.. One of my gradients gave me the fall colors and the addition of "3D curl" in the final transform. I also added a pitch of 50 to add a bit of depth. These made the leaves look as if there was a bit of a breeze blowing through them.... It is kind of remeniscent of fall foliage in northern Minnesota as I would walk down the woodland paths and fire trails near my grandparent's cabin wild picking hazelnuts. This piece required no post editing other than the addition of my signature.
This is of a size suitable for use as a wallpaper, too.
