This began as an Apophysis 2.02 flame posted on the 'lists' by "universe" called "in the jungle" and looked like lush vegitation. After some playing with the triangles in the "Edit Window", I 'found' some windswept trees, which I layered 5 copies in the foreground of a blue background with Photoshop's sky/earth gradient blended to look as water and sky. To this I added a few butterflies with that brush style, several layers and sizes of my Apophysis 'hummingbird flame', 2 of my 'dragon flames' and some 'cloud flames' to come up with the final collage. The only portion of this picture that isn't a fractal is the blue of the background. All shapes and such are flame fractals with transparent backgrounds and layered to create the collage.

EDIT: The ''sea'' looked a bit too bare, so I used a portion of my flame, "Butterfly Orchid" to create a 'sailing' boat on the water, and added the hint of waves to the water. I also added a few more 'birds' in and among the 'trees'...

This is a suitable size for use as a wallpaper, too.

Thank you for the :+fav:!! Since I found that I can render fractal transparencies in Apophysis, I've had a lot of fun creating collages using various flame fractals for the various elements of the scenery. I've found that a great many of the fractals have their counterparts in nature, as well. Sometimes my collages take on a life of their own and it's hard to quit adding things...LOL :D

Thank you... Like I mentioned before, I've been having fun creating all these collages... I'm finding it hard to just do a straight fractal any more....:D

You don't have to worry on that account...as long as I have my computer and a 'net connection, I'll keep on posting. But, I'm running short on drive space with all the graphics...LOL...might have to get a larger drive. :D

I already have 2 drives a 20GB and 40GB. I moved one drive from my old computer when the motherboard died, which made it very easy transferring all my data. I should have ordered my new machine with a larger drive than 40GB, but I didn't think I'd fill it this quickly....LOL. I think I have one more bay available, so maybe I can sneak another hard drive into the machine....:D I don't know if the power supply will handle it though. :)
