Elixer of Light

This Apophysis 2.05Z beta2 flame began as a linear-spherical batch to which the "planetoid" and "dragon egg" variations were run. This was followed by a bit of manipulation and rotation of the transforms, followed by a bit of playing with the gradients. The transforms of this flame were all doubled and then flipped horizontally. This was layered over a dark background of which a feathered portion around the center to the edges was selected and copied as an additional layer on top to darken the edges and highlight the center area.
It reminds me of chemical solutions glowing under blacklight or lit from below.
This is of a size suitable for use as a wallpaper, too.
