Artist's Comments
This gradient tweaked pix is a variation on my earlier, Palantir IV, which piece began as another of my 'snowflake fractals' using the "Snowflake Script. It was a similar ''snowflake'' as seen in "Snowflake - One Among Many" [link] . This was further edited in the ''edit transform window'' with the doubling of several of the triangles(transforms), followed by the addition of the "Final Transform" and a ''diamond'' variation. The result is a fractal that reminds me of the Palantír, the ''seeing stones'' that played a part in the LOTR Trilogy.
For this edit, I decided to make this a bit larger than the previous wallpapers for those with the larger monitor screens.
